The Pakistan Academy of International Relations (PAIR Pakistan) is an organization for mid-career researchers, academicians, and young scholars, dedicated to strengthening the culture of research and higher education in Pakistan. The organization maintains a non-political, non-sectarian, and non-religious stance, aiming instead to foster the collective progress of society as a democratic and forward-looking nation.
Principal Objective
The principal objective of the organization is to provide consultancy services, research, and development to governments, donors, international institutions, individuals, firms, companies, trusts, non-governmental organizations, and associations. PAIR offers expertise in strategic planning, project management, institutional development, capacity building, and other ancillary services.
Mission
The mission of the organization is to promote independent research and cultivate a culture of higher learning to address national needs.
The purpose of PAIR is to advance research and higher education by:
(i) Creating a pool of experts and youth committed to improving the culture of independent research;
(ii)Collaborating with educational institutions, training centers, NGOs, and government agencies;
(iii) Publishing academic and research outputs including books, reports, journals, magazines, surveys, training manuals, periodicals, theses, research papers, writings, discoveries, documents, news, and information;
(iv) Awarding stipends and internships to bright and distinguished youth;
(v) Organizing seminars, conferences, lectures, workshops, trainings, talks, events, round tables, and policy dialogues.
